These terms apply when you use weareship.org, the website of SHIP Home (Stop Human Trafficking in the Pacific), a New Zealand registered charitable trust, charity number CC63250. By using the site or donating through it, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Using our website
You're welcome to browse the site and share our content for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please don't misuse it. That means no attempts to break into the site, no spam or automated messages through our forms, and nothing harmful or unlawful.
Our content
The text, images, logo and other material on this site belong to SHIP Home or to the people who licensed them to us. You can link to our pages and quote short passages if you credit SHIP Home. For anything else, ask us first at info@weareship.org.
Information on this site
We publish information about human trafficking to raise awareness. We work to keep it accurate and current, but it's general information. It isn't legal, immigration or other professional advice. If you're worried about a particular situation, contact the right service. If someone is in immediate danger, call 111.
Donations
Donations go through our website checkout and Stripe processes the payment. All amounts are in New Zealand dollars. We'll email you a confirmation when your donation goes through.
Your donation supports SHIP Home's work to prevent and combat human trafficking across the Pacific.
If you choose a monthly donation, we'll take the same amount each month until you cancel. To change or cancel it, email info@weareship.org.
If you make a mistake, for example by entering the wrong amount, email us within 30 days and we'll refund it.

Our site links to other websites. We aren't responsible for their content or for how they handle your information.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect and how we use it.
Our responsibility
We provide this website as it is. We can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. As far as the law allows, SHIP Home isn't liable for any loss that comes from using the site or relying on its content. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under New Zealand law that can't be excluded.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when we last changed them. If you keep using the site after a change, the updated terms apply.
